Couple donates $9 million to UC programs, mostly in support of diversity and inclusion

The University of Cincinnati has received a $9 million gift, with a majority dedicated to enhancing diversity and inclusion.
The gift includes $5 million to benefit students of color and women, according to a news release issued Monday by UC.
Corneila and Richard E. Thornburgh are behind the donation. Richard Thornburgh, a 1974 business graduate from UC, is the former vice chairman of the board of Credit Suisse Group AG, a financial services company, according to the release.
